The Wisconsin Chapter of AATSP offers the students of AATSP members to compete on a state level as well as a national level in the National Spanish Exam. To find out more information about each level, please see below.

The Wisconsin Chapter awards the following:

  1. A certificate to the top TEN winners in each level;
  2. And a ribbon to the top SIX in each level;
  3. And a medal to the THREE winners in each level.
  4. Also the top SENIOR winner(s) in levels 4-6 will be awarded a monetary stipend to be deteremined each year.

    What do I need to know to take the exam?

    Cost:

    The cost this year for the exam is $4.00/per student taking the exam. This covers:

    • the exam itself
    • Unlimited practice
    • Prizes awarded nationally and at the state level (see above

    When and how will the exam be given this year?

    ALL exams will be done ON LINE. The time line to take the exam is between

    The National Spanish Examination is to be administered in each school during the tenth week prior to the close of the academic year.
    These dates will be different for each school within a chapter and should fall sometime between March 1 and April 15.
